The brand new TouchIT App Store V1.5 has been launched and is now available to install on your TouchIT Y Series LED
The main feature of this release is that it is up to 6 times faster to download Apps than before. We think you are going to love it!
There are a couple of ways to install the new App Store. First, you are going to need to uninstall the previous version.
How Uninstall Version 1.0
- On your TouchIT Y Series, from the home page (showing the clock) click on the “Apps” icon in the dock
- Scroll through to find the TouchIT App Store.
- Press and hold on the TouchIT App Store until the uninstall option displays
- Drag the App Store icon over to the uninstall option at the top of the screen
- Click on “OK” to uninstall the App Store.

Install New App Store from a Web Browser
(You need to be connected to the internet on yout Y Series LED)
- Open your browser and navigate over to http://touchittechnologies.com/appstore
- Click on the large blue logo and click ok to download
- Navigate to your downloads (click the dots in the upper right corner and choose Downloads List)
- Select the App Store and click ok to install (You will see a V1.5 on the App logo of the new store)
- Login with the same username and password you used before

Install New App Store from a USB Stick
- Insert a USB stick into your computer
- In your web browser head over to http://touchittechnologies.com/appstore
- Click on the blue logo to download the App Store onto your computer
- Copy the “appstore1dot5-release.apk” onto your USB stick
- Insert the USB stick into the front of your TouchIT LED
- Open File Manager from the dock
- Select your USB Stick
- Choose your “appstore1dot5-release.apk” and click to install (You will see a V1.5 on the App logo of the new store)
- Login with the same username and password you used before
