Hello and welcome to this Blog Post edition of #AskSusie. In this week’s post, we’re going to look at licensing options with Contribute Signage, Software.
Licenses
After your 15 day trial period ends, you need to enter the license key that you either purchased through the online store or from your local reselling partner.
When you have logged into your account, choose your avatar (top right of screen) and click on “License”
Enter the license key that you purchased, and click “Submit”
You will see the current state of your license, in this case we are in Trial mode. Please note, it is possible to upgrade your existing license through the store. To activate a license, type the license into the box and click “submit” If it is accepted, you will be logged out and asked to log in again.
When you log back into the software, you will see the license state has been updated.
Please note, you are only able to add the number of Playback Devices as your license key supports.
Licensing Options
Licensing is a very straight forward process in Contribute Signage. Firstly, there are no monthly or annual fees. The way in which the licsending model works is that you are purchasing a perpetual license for you product. This means that there is one a one-time fee that you pay up front when you purchase the software.
All of your updates are included for the life of the product. This is licensing made simple.
When you purchase a license, you are deciding how many screens you are going to need. You have the following options

Deploying and Managing Your Devices & Signage
SEE THE DEVICE’S LOCATION, GROUP PLAYERS, SEE WHICH ARE ONLINE, OFFLINE AND WHICH OS IS BEING USED – ALL FROM THE WEB CONTROL PANEL, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME ON ANY WEB-ENABLED DEVICE.
In order to add a device to your control panel, firstly, you need to download and install our Playback App. Once installed, the App will give you a unique registration code. Assign the location of the device and enter the registration code in your web control panel and your playback device will be connected to your account. You can see the status of the device from your control panel as well as its location on google maps. This makes managing multiple locations from the same web control panel simple and easy.
You are able to organize your playback devices into folders. You are also able to group your devices so that you can have all your reception areas playing the same “reception” layout channel etc. Being App based means that we can convert any of your existing screens into a playback device, simply by installing the App onto that device, or a hardware dongle such ass a Windows or Android stick.
