Hello, and welcome to this online demonstration of the TouchIT Interactive LED.  We’re going to take a look at the range of Interactive LEDs that TouchIT manufacturer will look at how we get started, how we set up the unit, as well as the software that comes with the Interactive LED.

Let's start by looking at the sizes that are available.  This unit here is a 55-inch but we actually manufacture this in sizes from 32, right up to 84 and almost everything in between.  We have a 32-inch, a 42, a 46, 55, 65, 70, 75 and 80 and then 84.  So you can see we've got quite the range of touch screens for every classroom or boardroom environment.

All of the interactive touch screen LEDs work in exactly the same way.  So everything that you’ll see on this online demonstration is the same with all sizes.  The only difference is that three of our models are Ultra HD, the 65-inch, the 75 and 84.  All the others are all full HD like my 55-inch here.

So let's start by taking a look how we connect the units to our computer and how we get going.  My 55-inch here is connected to my computer by just two cables a USB cable gives me the touch control whilst the HDMI cable gives me the image and the sound.  And obviously the unit is collected as well to a power outlet.  When I touch the screen I'm registering a left click and when I touch and hold I’m registering a right-click.  So its full mouse control at my fingertips for my computer.

Now there's no drivers whatsoever to install on the Windows.  It's a true plug-and-play device and there's also no calibration.  So out of the box connect those two cables and away you go.  If you don't have a HDMI port on your computer don't worry we can also use a VGA cable and an audio cable to connect the LED to your computer.

There's no calibration at all with the TouchIT LED.  We built the calibration into the screen and we do that at the factory so that you the user don't have to do anything.  So what that means is the user experience on the TouchIT LED is fantastic.  Out of the box connect those two cables and off you go.  And that's even the case if you're on a locked down network or you need IT to install the programs for you, it doesn't matter because we used the Windows driver in plug in those two cables and away you go.

The only caveat for drivers is the Mac operating system where you do need to install a driver from a website it's a quick download and away you go.  There's also no calibration on the Mac operating system, so again you've got a plug-and-play device.

All of our TouchIT LEDs come with a three-year on-site warranty for continental USA, Canada plus Australia.  And a three-year return to base warranty for the rest of the world.  The screens themselves are commercial grade so that means that you can leave them running 24/7 without invalidating your warranty.  They are built to last, got a metal frame we've also got a tempered glass finish across the front of the unit for protection.  So they're really durable and they’re designed for the toughest of environments.

The TouchIT units come with front control buttons.  So you have access to the menus and you can change the sources directly from the screen.  As well as the input and output ports underneath the units which are the two main input and output ports and you should use these as your primary connection to your PC or your Mac.  We also include side input ports where you can easily change a touch of a button both the touch and the input to connect the gas computer or a student machine in the classroom, it's really convenient.

Easy port is available on out HD range of Interactive LEDs but not on our UHD models.  In addition to easy port we also offer an integrated PC that will work with all models from 42-inch right up to 84-inch in both HD and UHD.

And finally for the hardware portion of this online demonstration, I'd like to talk about the tempered glass finish that comes with all our Interactive LEDs.  Not only does this protect the LED when the user's touching the screen but it's also there to enhance the users viewing experience because it's an anti-glare which means a really low reflection coming back off the screen at the audience.

All TouchIT LEDs come with two pieces of software.  First is TouchIT Notes and TouchIT Notes is our group collaboration software that allows us to connect iOS and Android devices to the Interactive LED to broadcast content and to collaborate.  Secondly is TouchIT Oktopus, and TouchIT Oktopus is our education software and it allows us to annotate and create live activities at the Interactive LED.

Let's take a look at both pieces of software.  I’m going to start by taking a look at TouchIT Oktopus which is our education orientated software.  TouchIT Oktopus is designed for annotation it's designed for creating live activities for the students in the classroom.  It's organized into subject-specific toolbars which means you only need to display those tools that you can actually use in the classroom which as you can see from its green here means you've got a lot more space to create your activities.

Now the really great thing about TouchIT Oktopus is that the learning curve is so shallow.  It's very very simple piece of software to learn.  You can start just by using this floating toolbar where I can take pen, I can change a color and I can annotate on the screen.  Very very simple and we maintain that anybody at all can actually use TouchIT Oktopus.

TouchIT Oktopus is also a multi-touch piece of software.  So it means that I've got a multi-touch screen so I can have multiple people writing at the LED at the same time.  So multi-touch is built in to Oktopus as standard.  I’m just going to take a new screen here and now were going to look at some of the tools that you'll find inside of Oktopus.

So I’m going to go into my subject-specific toolbars and I'm going to pull out some math tools.  And my tools are displayed down the side I can also bring out the main toolbar and have all of my tools on displayed.  Let's just put that back over to the side here.

So for example I'm going to need some numbers and I'm going to need some symbols.  So the tools inside of Oktopus are all dynamic and by dynamic I mean you can create your activities in real time at the LED.  So if I have to track down some numbers you see that they snap together nicely and then I’m going to drop in a multiplication sign and I'm creating a live multiplication.  And because they're all dynamic I can take the answer there.  I can drop the square root on that and there we go.

I’m going to stay with math but I'm going to look the fraction still and I'm going to need the symbols as well as.  So inside of Oktopus I can create a live multiplication of fractions activity for the class.  Simply drag down the fraction add on the multiplication drag in the equal sign and I can then explain to the class the way that we do this is we multiply first along the top so one by one as well and then along the bottom four by five is 20.

And because its fractions it's important that we have reached the simplest form of the lowest common denominator.  And Oktopus can check that for ours.  Now this is a very practical way of doing things and if I was with more visual learner then I may find this little tricky.  Oktopus caters for this and I can dropdown my code to there to get a visual representation likewise a fifth.  And because it’s dynamic I can also drop in the 20th as well.  So Oktopus caters to different learning styles of students within the seventy-plus tools that are in the software.

Now I’ve only shown you three tools out of seventy that are inside of Oktopus but this online demonstration is just meant to be a thousand feet overview of what you can do with the software.  If you'd like to know more about the software or see the features in more depth please visit our website at where you'll find video tutorials, you’ll find self-paced online training as well as a demo version of the software that you can download and install on your own machine.

So just to recap on the features of Oktopus, we have subject-specific toolbars, we've got seventy-plus tools, two and a half thousand pieces of flashing images inside of the software and the learning curve is really really loud which means practically anyone can use the software.

Let's now take a look at the second piece of software that comes as standard with the TouchIT Interactive LED range.  TouchIT Notes is really the missing link between tablet and cellphone devices and the Interactive LED.  It allows the presenter to have mouse control from their own tablet or cell phone device of the LED so the freedom to move around the room.  But also it allows you to connect participants so in an education scenario, students can connect to the LED, a normal corporate environment, your business meeting participants can connect to the Interactive LED.

And you can broadcast content from the LED out the connected devices.  Your participants can then personalized that content, save that content to their devices but most importantly they can also collaborate together.

And you can do all of this either over the local wireless network or via the internet over the cloud.  Let's take a look software and the features in a bit more detail.  It then started with TouchIT Notes is really quick and simple.  What I'm going to do is click on show my desktop and Session ID number that you can see here, we'll come back and discuss later on.

What I'm now going to do is connect my cell phone so that I got full mouse control of the TouchIT LED from my cell phone device.  So I'm going to go into the app, I’m going to click on connect to desktop, I’m going to choose my computer name which is one of the green icons and I've now got full mouse control at my fingertips.

Anything that I can do with my mouse screen I can now do with my handheld device.  So here I do a mouse action and you can see that it's replicated on the screen behind me.  Full mouse control from my cell phone device.

Let's now take a look at how we can connect participant devices to the Interactive LED to receive content and collaborate.  So to do this we're going to need the Session ID which can be found down here.  On my iPad I’m going to open the DisplayNote app, I’m going to click on join a session and then enter my name as well as the Session ID number which will be displayed on the Interactive LED.

I’m going to click on the join button and within a few seconds my display from my Interactive LED is now showing on my iPad.  Now that my iPad is connected to the Interactive LED display anything that I do on the screen, so if I annotate it’s now shown on the iPad.  So it’s broadcast from the LED out to the iPad.

Now I can share absolutely any content that I have on my Interactive LED even third-party software.  For example a web browser, it can be broadcast out to the connected devices.  Microsoft Excel sheet no problem we can do that as well.  And similarly even a powerful presentation can be broadcast out from LED to the participant’s devices.

And finally in this online demonstration were going to have a look at collaboration between TouchIT Notes.  We've seen how we can broadcast content from the Interactive LED to connected tablet and cell phone devices.  Now we're going to look at how we can collaborate from those devices work together and send information back to the Interactive LED.

The first thing I’m going to do is click on my session manager and I can see exactly who's connected to my TouchIT Notes session.  I’m going to put check in the collaboration box there are two participants here who both receive on their device a message to say that they’re now collaborating.

What this means is not only do they receive the content from the LED but they can also send content back to the LED.  And they can both work together on the devices in real time.  Here we have to use is collaborating on their devices, we have the iPhone user who is annotating the sales graph and those annotations are being sent over to the tablet user who is also annotating and working in real time on that same screen.  As you would expect all of this information is being transmitted back to the Interactive LED.

Here the LED I can take my annotation software tool and of course at my annotations and we're all working together in real-time on our devices.
